Thanks for the info, Geop.
I wasn't implying that its simply a placebo - I was implying that my experimentation might be damaged by arguments of placebo effect.
Human:
Hopefully. We don't know for sure, but in theory it might. It's configurable, so you can do whatever you like with it.
Arg.. editting doesnt give you the scrolling history... okay, whoever spoke of trying to make their own program:
This program I've made can display exactly one frame of the monitor refresh rate... at 75Hz thats 13ms
Even at that speed, I'm able to see the text... sometimes not able to read it, but still able to see that it was there.
I blame it on phosphor afterglow and the lack of moving/changing animation on the screen.
At any rate... New Version!
After much debate, I've opted for a setup that doesn't register on the installed software list. This reduces some embarassment for certain employees
[EDIT] Instructions Revised, and Setup Changed...
(Sorry for those who were downloading it already
Instructions for windows 2000 and xp users (This will work for eg. 98/me, but the program may have some problems running normally)
1) Download the setup file from http://www.strike9.com/file.ashx?path=/Pla...imeSetup01e.exe
2) Run it, and install to the default directory. Make sure you read the disclaimer
3) Run Start-Programs-Startup-Sublime Imaging. Every time the computer reboots it'll use it again.
4) Insert a category and some messages! Important, as there is a bug when you start the messages without any messages set up. Go figure. Be gentle
Also make sure the settings are the way you want them
If anyone with windows 98/me has problems, let me know
Oh.. one more thing... the 'x' button minimizes to the system tray (little icons on the bottom right).
To close it completely, you have to right click on the system tray icon and go 'exit application'
