      I think I managed a WILD earlier this morning

      I was about 9 am and I'd slept for hours already. I went back to bed to sleep, and I started counting. After a little while my body started shaking and I got saw a flash of the sky, it had stars in it, like it was night. Then it turned into an OBE, I felt my non-psysical body leave my physical body. My eyes were closed though... it could have been a dream.

      So what was this? A semi-Wild mixed with a dream? I'm pretty sure I was awake when I was to go back to sleep, but my eyes were shut apparently when I "projected". I was definately some kind of WILD experience at first. I had this vibrations, it almost felt like I was shaking from cold. I don't know what was going on. I might have been awake and fallen asleep in the middle of the WILD, which turned into a "false" OBE (dream-induced OBE).

      It sounds like a WILD, the vibrations, vision and sensations you experienced are called hypnagogia. If it continued a little bit longer while you maintain awareness, you probably would have entered a full fledged lucid dream.

      Well, everyone has their own opinion on OBEs. Since I believe OBE's are really deep lucid dreams about 'projecting', I'd say "yes, you did have a Wake Initiated Lucid Dream!".

      If you feel you definitely had an out of body experience, then you didn't have a WILD, you had an OBE. I believe the procedure is the same.
