      How long???

Just a quick question to get a general idea...
How long do your lucid's last once you realize you are lucid?
Now, I am not asking for specific times (as I am sure you are all not checking your watches...lol)
but is it a short period of time, or does it seem like a long time? Does anyone actually remember everything fading then waking up??

Can be totally random depending on the person or when they become lucid, on how experienced the person is or how stable the dream is. Theres so many factors, its hard to say just how long even in general.

It really depends on how calm you are and confident in your own abilities. It can last as long as a whole REM period or as short as 5 seconds..most of mine are in the 1-5 minute range though, when they do come along...but don't settle for that, you can make them last just by feeling things, engaging, and pretending it's the real world while remembering it is a dream...
