Hey there,
If you ask me, the road to having more and more lucid dreams is a very introspective one. Because dreams are so essentially subjective, there's really no telling what will work for you and what won't.
That's not necessarily bad news though, but it does mean there's no clear cut answer to your question. Rather, you're going to have to find out for yourself what works for you, through trial and error, through experimentation, through looking at yourself and how things affect you.
My advice to you would be to begin reading the various tutorials on this website, and other people's experiences. Chose one that appeals to you, try to do it for yourself, see what happens. Be sure you try long enough, because you want the effect to be consistent. Don't think you've invented a fool proof lucidity technique because it has given you three lucid dreams in a row. But at the same time don't think it doesn't work because it hasn't given you lucid dreams the last three nights. If you have the patience, I would advice trying every technique out for a month. If you don't have the patience, shoot for two weeks at least.
And begin experimenting. Figure out what works for you, figure out what doesn't, once you get your basics, start adjusting. Combine techniques, mix and match, make your own alterations. Basically the only one that can tell you what works for you... is you. So you're gonna have to take a good hard look at yourself, and just fine tune
Good luck!
