It is possible. But no different from a WILD, if he goes from waking-dream directly. |
I was talking to a guy about two years ago who said he experienced most of his lucid dreams in mid day naps... not only did I question as to how he could reach REM sleep, but also as to whether or not he was as lazy as I thought he was! lol who can nap everyday?! |

Oooohhhhh.... right... that whole wild thing... forgot about that for a second... |
I LD my best in naps |
What time of day do you take your naps? Or does it not make a difference? |
I don't know when, and I doubt it makes much difference. |
never made a difference, really. Mostly it was in school... |
Sorry DeadDollKitty, but Bonsay's response kicked yours out of the water! |
I had my first lucid dream in an afternoon nap. |
I have lucid dreams a lot when sleeping at night but if I nap in the day I never have them. I dream but its rubbish, just a hotch potch of images mainly and usually really strange. |

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.” Albert Einstein
Hey there, |

Indeed Mr Red - I cannot LD if I am shattered, and my technique explains to people to have regular sleep patters, dont get too exhausted before bed and your sleep will be lighter thus resulting in increased dream recall, vividness and the ability to LD. |
i never knew you could dream outta rem! i gotta do some more research. |
Do a simple search on google with the terms: "NREM dreams". |
Wow this just might be the most successful thread I've ever started lol thanks for all the insight, my friends. It ceases to amaze me on how educated members of this site are. Everyone has a passion for dreaming! I dig! |
I've heard lots of reports of people having LD's during naps, certainly. As some others said above, it has to do with your intentions...you lay down in bed, thinking, "I'm doing this, solely to lucid dream", and that may just be the kick in the ass, so to speak, your subconcious needs for some more of those gold LDs |

Brothers & Sisters in Dreams
Well I tried last night and I was up for an hour and a half... I never got as close as I did the first time... |
Becoming Lucid during a nap is what lucid research suggest will probably yield you the best results, in mid-day, or morning...trying to go lucid at night without any sleep prior to your attempt is like trying to run a 4 flat with 5 inch platform shoes. In other worlds...it's possible to LD at night but the "difficulty" factor is raised exponentially. |

Things are not as they seem
Naps rock for LDs. hands down the most effective method I've ever found. ever. |

We who are about to dream, salute you!
