      Lucid v non lucid dreams

If you have lucid dreams do you like them more, less or equally the same as non lucid dreams? and why?

I love my non lucid dreams. They are always much more exciting, mental, surreal etc than my lucid dreams. My lucid dreams always seem to be much more organised and apart from the fact that I can do stuff in them the dreams themselves are always pretty boring, more like real life than my non lucid dreams.

I like my lucid dreams alot more than my non lucid dreams for the obvious reason of me being in control.

I never have had a lucid dream before, but my non LDs are always insane and usually very enjoyable. =)

I have a question for Zek. Why are your lucid dreams boring? Why aren't you using the freedom of lucid dreams to go to places or do stuff that isn't boring? I'm genuninely confused. Do you feel that you maintain absolute control in your lucid dreams?

I ask because I find that it is my non-lucid dreams that tend to be boring. I get stuck in ruts, and without lucidity, I just do essentially the same stuff over, and over, and over, and...

When Im lucid dreaming I find what is happening around me boring, even though I can do stuff in my dreams its the dream itself that is mundane. Like I will be at work or just in town and everything around me seems pretty normal almost like real life apart from the fact that I can do things. I can alter bits of my dreams, like I can alter what Im wearing, of if something in my dream isnt to my liking I can alter it but I have never managed to alter the whole senario. Yet when I am normal dreaming all manner of surreal, exciting, mental things happen around me. I will dream of worlds that dont even exist, things happen that are totally impossible, they are usually totally nonsense dreams but are anything but boring.

      I hope that makes sense

      Lucid Dreams are always better.

Whatever you want to do, you do.

      End nightmares.

      Fly anywhere.

      Fight God.

      Kill people.

Normal Dreams can not possibly compare to the unrelenting power we have over amusingly pathetic DC's.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
