Thread: It's Christmas time in the lucid dream world.

i want to go back in time and see dinosaurs, now thats something you dont see everyday!

Haha it would be cool to celebrate Christmas. Or even visit a similar cultural celebration of a culture yu are not familiar with and see what comes up as to how they celebrate!

I totally agree with you about the christmas feeling. I looooove the christmas atmosphere a lot.

Yes that would be interesting.

There is so much in a lucid dream I would like to do, but never really do it when I become lucid, there is always something else on my mind at the time.

Christmas is not really something that I get excited about anymore. Living on my own and stuff, Christmas morning is a little lonely

Yeh there is so much i want to do aswell but when i become lucid i don't know what to do. Though i am starting to forget what being lucid feels like.

Yeh christmas is not the same when you get older plus you get less presents and boring ones. Lucid christmas is the best because you can have as much presents as you want and spend it with whoever you want so you want be lonely.

Another idea would be to take the role of santa and go round delivering presents on christmas eve. That would be interesting going down people's chimneys and seeing what you encounter.

I dunno I just think it would be bomb. I used to have this mini-obsession with trying to see Santa when I was a kid because I remember vividly watching him and his reindeer fly down my street. It was only later that I rationalized that it must have been a dream and it was one of my only dreams that ever made me feel worse rather than make me feel good because I TOTALLY believed he was real lol

I guess it would be like fulfilling a childhood dream...

This sounds a bit boring with the endless possibilities of the LD world...I would explore space and see what my mind could fabricate for the unknown. That sounds interesting, experiencing Christmas doesn't. I can see why someone would though it just seems trivial to the other possibilities!

Well like i said this idea will not interest everyone.

This idea is so going to be hapenning in my next ld .

Yeah I mean in Brighton it is a massive thing to go out Christmas Eve and drink with all your friends and it is usually the busiest night of the year in the City! But then Christmas day you are left to recover on your own. I try to get up and see my family, but hangover and 4 year old excited twins do not go well lol

Hey Adam, Once you are on your own, Holidays are what you make of them. I am on my own and I manage to have a spectacular Christmas every year. You don't have to have somebody else to decorate for. Do it for yourself or if you really want some satisfaction spend some time around a homeless shelter. You have to create your own traditions now and if people see you having fun then they will join you.

I love christmas, everywhere is decorated with christmas lights, christmas trees, santa clauses etc and i love that christmas feeling. Partying at christmas is also great with all the ladies dressed up as santa.

This is an idea to think about if you love christmas. It would be really interesting to see what presents you get. This should be a lucid task of the month to make it christmas morning and open your presents and see what you get.

Sorry, I thought you meant sick as in

I didn't know there was anoother definition for sick.

One of my early LDs took place on Christmas day. I dreamt this in March. Talk about easy RC!

Yeh with me the last two or three years for a few months after christmas i always dreamt it was around christmas time which made become lucid pretty easily.

I was really hoping that dreamsign would stay forever.

I love this idea. I love the atmosphere at Christmas time but, like other posters, I wouldn't really want to waste a lucid dream on Christmas Day. Being Santa though - flying with the reindeer, doing that alternative theory to getting in people's houses (snapping fingers and appearing inside), and seeing the world asleep (that Christmas silence with only the lights and animated figures buzzing) - that would be sweet!
