Mutual Dreaming, Dreamviews Party and Serinanth

Yesterday I was playing with the idea of posting a challenge to the list to pick a night, and on that night we would have a lucid party. All lucid dreamers on the list would meet that night in the dream realm. We have touched on that topic before, mutal dreaming, shared dreaming, etc.

Last night however, I got ahead of myself. I had a false awakening, I recognized it, and was lucid. I left my aprtment, making sure I had my keys with me, because even in the lucid dream you don't want to get locked out! I was out on the street, and decided to convene the party. I called out for the lucid dreamers to join, and three people appeared on the street. I faced them and said, "Look here, here are more poeple as I turned myself around", and sure enough a few more people came. Then the street morphed into a room. Then I said, "look here is Paperdoll!" and a girl appeared. She was little, and I told her "Hey, you are really Petite!". Then we spoke with a guy who was wearing a black shirt, almost like wool, with a rip on the left shoulder, jeans, and black converse all-stars sneakers. I made a point to remember the clothes although I did not ask the name.

Then I asked, "Where is Serinanth", and everyone said that it was hard to get him to come. So I told everyone to form a cirlce, hold hands to gather energy, and we made him appear. He had a moustache, that is all I remember. Soon after I lost lucidity and woke up.

First, I am curious if my attempt to bring real people (or at least real in cyberspace terms) into the dream worked. People on Dreamviews have described mutual dreaming experiences.

Second, I think it would be neat to try the experiment I had proposed. Why not convene sunday AM for a reunion??!!

I had a similar idea, it would be really something if we all had the same dream....I'd try to meet you, but I've had a lucid dry spell of 2 weeks...maybe we need a visual that everyone can focus on like a picture of a place, or a real place like the statue of liberty.

Statue of Liberty on Sunday morning, say around 4ish eastern time?
I'll wear a hat, it is up to one of you to tell me what kind.

4 am or pm, cause a 4 pm nap is not out of the question for me...and a fedora(sp) not enough people wear those

gotta be morning. I'll be taking the kids to visit their grandparents in the afternoon.

I don't even own a fedorah. It will be a ball cap with my favorite team on it.

ok if I happen to lucid dream tonight(hopefully) I'll look for you...I'll wear something khaki and a white shirt....that's my normal uniform.

Lost soul encountered some dream people that had said it was difficult to find me too.. thats weird.

i think we have to be pretty lucky to all be lucid at that time, not everybody here is able to get lucid at will, or is lucid very often

Had brief lucid spell last night, I'll talk about that one in another thread.
No luck hooking up with anyone though

But like I said, Sunday morning Statue of Liberty. Maybe this time!

Can i try to, although i probably won't be able to do it, go to bed thinking iv got an Lucid appointment at the staute of liberty at 4. Are we meetin on the tipy top or inside the globe thing.

I know I can't make it. I'm rather... incapacitated at the moment. These pain meds are seriously messing with my dreaming. None of the dreams I've had lately have been lucid and I've been too knocked out cold to do anything about it.

EDIT: and I gotta say.. Lost Soul, what you put for your Location is one of the best sayings I've ever read! I can SO relate to that...

Thats creepy though, gives you the picture of in the movies of a dead woman floating under an old bridge out there, communicating with us from beyond. Plus the i feel your pain part dosn't help lesson the creepy ness

no, no, no...like "it's water under the bridge" as in, in the past. At least that's how I take it... If you look at it like that, it's like not being able to let the past go. Nothing creepy about that...

I made it to the Statue of Liberty last night.
I awoke around 4 am for my usual bathroom break. When I got back in bed, I remembered that this was the morning for the gathering. I fell asleep. I don't know what tipped me off, but for some reason I preformed a reality check and became lucid. I then teleported myself to the statue. This was the first time I experimented with teleportation, I did it my waving my hand similar to Quigon(sp?) in star wars and there I was.
I was hovering over the buildings at Ellis Island, but no one was there.

I was about to give up when I spotted a young woman walking along.
She was about 5'6", with light brown hair, about shoulder length in a soft perm. She was wearing khakis and a light shirt, I couldn't really tell the color since she was also wearing a light brown cardigan sweater.
I think her eyes were brown, but I'm not sure.
I landed and said, "You must be Jill". She replied that she was. I remember we walked around for a few minutes and talked, I don't recall what we talked about, but I remember beginning to lose lucidity.

I awoke, I had my hand on a window next to my headboard and was pushing on it. Suddenly, the glass broke and my hand was full of glass slivers. It was at this point that I realized it was a false awakening. I stood up and spun and willed myself back into my dream.

When I returned, there were many people there. It was almost like a show of somehing was going to be performed. I looked for all of you guys, but couldn't find anyone.

One thing that was strange though, was that I still had the glass slivers in my hand.

Anyone else make it to the statue last night?

Listen man i tried, but you know how i have a problem with lucidty. Plus even if i did, im not qiuet sure if i would have rembered it. On the weekends, omg i have the hardest time rembering my dreams for some reason. Does this happen to any 1 else.

I didn't make it either. I partying pretty late last night and don't recall any of my dreams. It's great that you were able to keep the appointment and becauyse lucid etc. The teletransportation feat was good too. For a future meeting, we may not have to pick a place that we all know. It could be arbitrary, and we can let teleportation take us there.

I've had such a drie spell, if that was me seeker it was a dream I dont remember, but it really dose sound like a discription of me, and I always wear khakis, and white shirts, it's my favorite generic outfit. I have'nt had a lucid dream in over a month....I dont know why? I'm not doing anything different.
