      varying stages of lucidity(grounding)

varying stages of lucidityin a lucid dream is common for me, as is probably common for every body. but i have a trick that works well for me. i read several posts and people were complaining about there dreams being short , very chaotic and hard to control. i have a trick that alow you to (solidify) or ground yourself out inside your dream so that you have much better control

every one is familiar with looking at your hands as a signal or a cue to become consious inside a lucid dream. well this is not exactly how it works for me. somthing really wierd ussually happens and i relize i'm dreaming(one of the hardest parts) this is when i look at my hands( i think it can be any part of your body but my hands work the best) then i look out into the dream and find a object( it can be any thing in your dream) then i look at my hands again -then i look at that object( make sure that the object is the same)- then my hands- then the object. i do this several times and the dream becomes controlable.

heres my theory on how this works
when i am awake during the day i consider this solid time. every thing is set by laws that we can not change just manipulate. when i am dreaming, regular or lucid, i call this liquid time. laws dont nessisarilly apply. if you have ever noticed as soon as you look at somthing in a dream it begins to change . my hand technique stops or at least slows this effect down so you have beter controll

i hope this helps and hope to hear some feedback.

      thanks Hurlo

Sounds good, thanks for the tip. Will try it.

Someone else mentioned another trick that sounds like it would do a similar thing - walk forward 40 paces while looking at your environment. Then walk back the 40 paces and *try* to either keep everything the same, or reverse it.

Once again, you are trying to solidify 'liquid time' - good term btw
