Has a Dream Guide changed your life?

So i was thinking (for the past month) about DGs. It seems like the perfect "person" to talk to and quite the wise character. Now i was asking wether these people can change your life in any way, specially if they could give advice on how to become lucid more often. I just thought that the best way to know what your mind needs in order to become lucid is to talk to your mind! so if anyone has had a dreamguide change the way they live, think, act, talk, or even dream please tell me it would be great motivation.

When I saw the title I thought you meant the Staff DGs No offense to our DGs, I'm sure they've changed someone's life I'm sure someone has gotten a very deep and thoughtful answer from a DG. I haven't found mine yet . Since your DG is supposed to be a manifestation of your SC, you should be able to ask it what the best way to become lucid is. After all your SC created the dream...

Hey there, Any act of introspection can change your life. Any sudden insight into yourself and your reactions can make drastic changes in the way you behave in the future. Essentially, talking to your dreamguide, if you believe it is a representation of your mind, is just that... an act of introspection. Personally, I've never attempted to try to create or talk to a dreamguide, but I do try to learn from my dreams, and I can honestly say they've made me realise a lot about myself, my wishes, my fears, my desires, my shames, etc etc. I feel like I've managed to become a lot more at peace with myself since I began practicing with dreams, and I attribute a substantial part of that exactly to learning about myself from my dreams, lucid or otherwise. -Redrivertears-

i believe that DGs have always tried to to confuse people. i always get confused in an Ld when trying to find my DG

I hope she understands my needs mentally as well as physically. I hope she is willing to meet my needs. I hope she walks through the door of my room right now... wait... now... Well, it was worth a shot. Anyways, my dream guide hasn't changed my life yet. I've never had the desire to meet her until about three minutes ago. I'll let you know if she is the girl of my dreams (no pun intended).

Yes. My major DG is very helpful (I find it attractive) usually it tells me when I'm dreaming (but only if it notices I'm dreaming and is 'lucid' itself, the DG has told me it has varying degrees of lucidity). Also, it offers good advice on real life troubles, helped me through a depression, it introduced me to using plants to treat the pain from a incurable and mostly untreatable skin condition of mine, and the list goes on. However, it doesn't always answer my questions or do what I want it to. Sometimes it refuses to show in an LD and it nags all the time.

hmm i guess we all here want a Cute Female DG. i would like my DG to be an old muslim or Buddist. just cuz when i think of wisdom i think of them, but a cute chick would sound nice but i would probably spend most of my time hittin it with her hahah.
