Attaining lucidity and the next days emotions

If on a scale of 1-10.

1 being suicidal, 5 a normal outlook and 10 being psychotically happy.

Normally i`m in the low end. Never a number 1..but more like 3,4,5 on a daily basis. Thats just me, pessimistic and somewhat negative my entire life, as long as I can remember.

BUT, the day after I have an LD is an entirely different case. I`m up on the 7,8,9 scale.

I have no idea why. Maybe its a control thing, maybe I just find LD`s one of the funnest things that a human can do or perhaps its chemical.

Anybody else notive a severe personality change the day after?

If i wake up and i haven't had a lucid it's about the same 3,4,5 because i realise that i have wasted an entire night having non lucids when i could have been lucid doing anything imaginable. But if i have a lucid dream it can shoot from a 3 to a 9. I wake up in a great mood and it stays for the rest of the day.

Yeah. I feel like a 10 when I wake up after being lucid.

This is my first post. That's why I'm here. I want to perfect it better and be able to do it every night.

      normally I am a 4 5 or 6, after a lucid dream I'm around 6 7 or 8

your probably happy after a lucid dream because they are so fun, if you were to go and do fun things awake, you will be happier, the same happens in your dreams.

      ^Probably

I think lucidity really change your state of mind as well. You're controlling the chaos in your head and the next day I find my head and perception somehow more, refined?

Well then, to Dreamviews! This is the best place you could come to to get information and help on lucid dreaming
I've only had a few LDs but usually 7-9/10
How could anyone be suicidal after having a LD?

      Normally I'm about a 5/6.

Depending on the lucid and how vivid it was, what I did and how much control I had.. I can easily feel a 10 the next morning.

I was just discussing this phenomenon with a friend last night. Here's his question and my reply:

Last question for now. You mention feeling refreshed after these dreams: would that be more than ordinary nights or about the same as a sound, traditional sleep?

More refreshed than after a sound, traditional sleep. I wake from these invigorated... very happy... very secure feeling. It is almost a euphoria, but without any sort of altered perceptions.

It depends on how high the level of lucidity was, what I was able to do, etc. Most of the time I feel between a 6-8.

I try not to let Lucid dreaming become the be all and end all of my night sleeping, or my outlook on life, but after lucid dreams I think initially I feel a buzz, but after that my day is pretty much normal..

Hmmm. Never really thought about how when I LD I have truly slept great. I was assuming it was the LD in and of itself.

      Cool...
