      Question Dreaming dreams that I wish would just go away

      To start with, I was in a bad car accident a yr and 1/2 ago, my boyfriend at the time and his best friend were killed and it left me and another girl in the hosiptial for a couple of weeks. Lately, Ive been having very vivid dreams that my exboyfriend doesnt remember me or he's mad at me or even that the car accident was a cover up to hide the fact that hes in jail for something. I have dreams like this at least 2-3 times a week and they're really starting to bother me to the point that I dont even want to go to sleep anymore. I was talking to a friend of mine and he told me about lucid dreaming but Im not quite sure on it. Does anyone think it would help or no?

      Very much so yes,
      you could make that a dream sign and become lucid every time you have that dream. then when you become lucid you can do whatever you want.

      When becoming lucid you can talk to the dream character of you ex boyfriend and realise that he's just a dream character. You can also tell him stuff you'd like him to know... It seems your dreams are probably due to post traumatic stress... So you can work your worries in those dreams and maybe you'll feel better about the whole situation... I sometimes dream about my dad and I know how awkward those dreams may feel, but once I turned the dream around by talking to him and I realised he was just wanting to know how I was doing.

      But wow... I can only try to imagine how you feel about that situation... Wish you good luck on overcoming this!

      Oh, and when I dream about my dad he usually came back from the dead or something like that... And I know he'll be dying again soon... I guess traumatic situations just leave a mark on you and your dreams sometimes show that you still haven't recovered from it...
