Embarressed in lucids

I was just thinking about what i am going to do in tonights lucid (i better have one after saying this) and i was thinking about doing something and i thought that would be embaressing.

Then it hit me i can't get embarresed it's a dream, or can i? So i thought i would ask you guys, have you ever been embarresed in a lucid or do you think you ever could considering you know it's just a dream?

Yes.

Once more its important to remember that lucidity is not an all or nothing thing. Even in one lucid dream it's quite common for awareness of dreaming to fluctuate a lot, with moments in the dream having a very high lucidity, and moments in the same dream having a low lucidity.

Additionally, "delusions", "faulty conclusions", "illogical thoughts" are still quite common in lucid dreams. It's perfectly possible to not be scared of the big nasty dinosaur that's trying to eat you because you know it's only a dream, yet at the same time think you have to rescue your favorite doll from being flattened under the dinosaur's feet when it charges

So yes, it's possible to have moments of embarassement during lucid dreams, just as its possible to have moments of confusion, fear, bewilderment and what not.

I have never experienced embarrasment in a dream and rarely in real life but it is just an emotion and we have all experienced fear in a dream/nightmare so why not embarrasment.
Something to try to encourage and look out for in future LD's.

I have before I completely reaffirmed I am dreaming, like sometimes I would be thinking "This is something I would never do, ever!" But then I would reaffirm I am dreaming and be fine doing it

Being fully lucid.. no.. I've never been embarrassed and I've done some pretty embarrassing things.

Oh right i thought when you were semi lucid.

What a coinkidink, last night i had a lucid and in it i was yelling out commands like "Increase ludicity!" and then i thought "What if my waking body is saying these things while im asleep?" So i got sort of embarrassed at the thought and stopped yelling commands.

This is worth investigating. Someone could compile a list of embarressing things to try in Lucid dreams.
