When you are lucid you will know it. Most people that have their first lucid experience get very excited in their dreams and wake up. Also the detail os the scenary can be crytal clear. Sounds like you are making progress and will suceed soon,

I end up lucid sometimes and dont realise it because the dream world is too damned real for me. So its quite possible that you could have been lucid, especially since you said you have more controll of them. Keep working on it! Sounds like your on your way

what do you mean by "more controllable"?

I continue to have dreams that seem like non-lucid dreams in which I dream that I am lucid dreaming. I'm never sure if I'm lucid or not (maybe I'm lucid for just a few moments), but if dream master is right, then I guess I'm not.

There is a whole range or spectrum of lucidity... Sometimes I am lucid (aware that I'm dreaming, but feel as if I have little or no control -kinda like swimming, but in a strong current where it just sweeps you away). Other times I am completely lucid and have near total control (able to change the landscape, fly, metamorphasize into other people, animals, etc. etc. etc.). Other times I am only partially lucid but almost feel drunk or half-aware. And... sometimes I am asleep, but aware of my surroundings (usually sleep paralysis). There is a wide range, but lucid generally means you know you're dreaming while you are dreaming

i feel as if im close to lucidity, but not quite there. I enjoy sleeping more since learning about lucidity because my dreams are so much better, either that or now i remember more.
