Hey there long time lurker first time poster.
i'm a long time lucid dreamer, just something i'e been doing since a kid, though sometimes it's hard when im on a crazy sleep schedule (like right now) due to not having to get up at any set time. lately I've been trying to get back into it, and haven't been having too much trouble realizing i'm dreaming.
the problems I've had before with lucid dreams is being in an actual body (instead of just watching) and controlling my body when i have one (ie, I could fly around, but my arms would be stiff). also, i had a hard time talking, mostly because I didn't want real world people to hear me talking in my sleep.
now those problems are gone but I keep losing lucidity once i get full control
two examples:
I was in the bathroom of the apartment i've moved out of. I realized i shouldn't be there, which tipped off a lucid dream. i shouted a little and tried flying, then everything went black and i lost lucidity.
I was in my friend's kitchen talking to a couple of friends, when I realized I was dreaming and told them so. they didn't believe me, so I said, "no, check it out, i can float," and proceeded to do so, but then everything went black again.
any ideas?
