Do you look at that person differently after a lucid?

I have noticed if a celebrity was in my lucid dream lets say i see then them next day on t.v i look at them so much differently. It's kind of hard to explain, it's like i feel like i know them. Like for example the other night Bow Wow was in my lucid and we were in an apartment with his friends and just talking, having a laugh then the next day i am listening to one of his songs on my youtube playlist and i am watching the video thinking i was talking to you last night like we known eachother for ages and now i am watching you on a music video. This could be for as celebrity or a normal person.

I am not the best at explaining so hopefully you understand to a degree.

I get that feeling too...actually last night I had a dream where Lou Dobbs from CNN showed up out of the blue and I totally forgot about it until I saw him on TV earlier today and was like whoa, I know that guy! I've actually had several dreams where I'm hanging out with President Bush and he's sort of childlike and pathetic (not too far from RL obviously, but in the dreams it's in a Rain Man sort of way that makes me sympathize with him like he's just a sad man-child who desperately wants to be loved) and then later when I see him on TV I still have a little bit of that feeling from the dream where I feel kinda bad for him because he's just not the brightest bulb, but then I remember the Bush in my dreams isn't Bush in RL. I've also had it happen with people who I've seen around or met once in RL and then in the dream we're both part of some crazy adventure and the next time I see them in RL I feel like I can reminisce with them about that crazy adventure, but of course that wouldn't make much sense to them.

I posted this in DC's say the Darndest Things. Anyway:

I was having sex with a girl with long black hair. When I looked up at her face, she had suddenly changed into a girl I know. I didn't mind much, but then she started moaning/ screaming: "Oh God yes! It's such good cheese! Oh what a fantastic cheese!" and so on.

Whenever I see her in waking life now, I know I'll have to think about that.

Apart from that, yes I feel different about people I've met in lucid dreams, but once I deploy ratio and tell myself it was just a dream it usually goes away. Except for that one time when I had a girlfriend and I had a lucid sex dream with another girl I like. Felt guilty for days toward both of them.
How I discover what my dreams are about

In my last lucid dream I made pink sparks between my palms. I was trying to make a white ball of energy...

She's probably wondering why you are acting strange around her all the time. Dc's are brilliant.

Usually if there is a girl i know in my LD, I become infatuated with them for a week. Like you said, it makes you feel like you've known them forever on a very personal level. I wonder if you could use this to overcome shyness you have with someone in real life?

When i was in 6th grade my mom was trying to kill me in a non lucid. The next day, I stayed near my french horn just in case I needed a weapon to take her down.

Non-lucid celebrity encounters tend to have a deeper effect on me than lucids. I'll see a celebrity there, and go, "Wow. And I just saw him at the grocery store last night," or something. I'll think about which movie/song I last heard them in, and how I dreampt the way I dreampt. It's unusual for celebrities to appear in my dreams, so I'll think about it harder than if my friends/family appeared (they usually do!).

In lucids, I purposely abstain from bringing celebrities into the dream (just as I never summon/search for friends or family). SOCs>real people (SOCs=Subconscious Original Characters!). Because when I wake up, I can say that my mind created that, instead of showing how the media directly influences my mind.

Ha ha, or she's wondering why he always asks her if she wants any "cheese".

I can't say that I know exactly what you are talking about, although there have been fleeting moments after awakening when my semi-conscious mind was still under the impression that I knew someone famous because I had interacted with them in a dream.

But I never really have the experience of dreaming about someone and then having that color my waking impression of them. I think that my waking impressions of them actually influence my dream representations of them more than the other way around.

Yeh normally the infatuation goes away after period of time, but sometimes it will stay forever depending on the lucid experience. The last sentence made me laugh.

So you are saying you only search for mind created dream characters?

Yeh. Think of it this way you have just robbed the worlds largest casino with George Clooney, then the next day you see him on t.v. You tell me you wouldn't look at him the same as you always do.

Actually last night i had a dream about my friend. We've been good friends since like 1st grade, and in this dream we were arguing about who could run faster to the other side of the building only using parkour. It sort of brought a realization to me that we argue a lot in real life.
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
