Question A question for the Expienced

So I am getting really into this whole concept, because the first time i REALLY tried to get one it worked. However I was wondering for those of you who have been practicing for a long time, I know if you stop trying after training for a while you can get a couple or more a month, but if you do the routine every night for a while, about how frequently are you able to get a ld?
      Lucid Goals:

[ ] complete a lucid task of the month
      [ ] have a conversation with my own sub-conscious

      Lucid count: 11 Dild

I'm not that experienced, but I do know enough that it depends for each person. How hard you work at it and how dedicated you are play in effect as well.

I did something different last night and had AMAZING dreams including one of the longest lucids I've ever had. I used to just come to the forums and read for a while, then take my B6 vitamin and go to bed. Last night I took my vitamin in the middle of the night instead, I'm gonna try again tonight and see if it works again.

I always used to take my b6 before bed but now i take it after a few hours of sleep because if i have a lucid in the morning it would have wore off by then and the lucid probably won't be vivid. I also recon this increase your chances of a lucid dream.

Yeh it depends on the individual. Some might try for a lucid every night and it may take a couple of months and others may ge a lucid within a week. I don't do reality checks or any lucid training or anything because i have found a technique that induces lucids almost at will so perhaps you should experiment with techniques and see if you ca find one that works for you.

For my past three attempts, I've had three LDs. This is a big step for me. a month ago I would do reality checks all day and write in my journal every night. Now, I just write in my journal during weekends and no more reality checks. I don't think the practice gets you better, but as you practice, you find what works for you. Once you find a method that really works (waking up in the middle of the night, getting a drink of water, repeating "I will have a LD", and getting a DILD has been working for me very well). I don't work on LD as much as I did, but because I know what works, my success rate is much higher.
