Dream Journey. Anyone Uncomfy with it?

I was just wondering whether you people are uncomfy with writing your dreams down on paper because i am. i dont know why
i guess i dont like the idea that anyone could basically read it. its embarrassing even though i don't have any really bad dreams

It doesn't bother me at all unless i dream about something personal..but even then it doesn't matter because no one is going to read it.
What makes you think someone will see it?
Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.

password protected file on your computer?

I used to keep a diary like that.

      I think you mean journal*

Well, I've been using papers and physical notebooks for around a year now since I began my LD attempts and I actually preffered it. I'm just starting to transfer my dreams to the computer now and it's taking an awful lot of effort. I guess I'm starting to like the idea of a virtual journal more because it can help me relate to other dreamers, they can see my progress, and I theirs...It's also a abit easier to just type it in, a few keywords than fumblind around for a written journal at 4 am.

      Hey there,

Well, you're not forced to write a public dream journal here, though I assume from your post that you'd like to, but something keeps you back. Remember though, you put as many (or few) details in your journal as you want. You can always chose to leave things out, if you feel uncomfortable with them.

I assure you though, the only thing that actually can happen is that the people reading it will see that you're only human, just like the rest of us, and there's nothing embarassing about that

I use a code for names i don't want to include and also abbreviate events sometimes so that I will remember it upon reading but others wouldn't. Besides that I don't have a big deal with it.

It's kind of uncomfortable to me too. Probably cuz I'm sharing a room with my sister and she could randomly find it and read.

I find certain things uncomfortable to write, so I use lingo and sloppy handwritting

Yeah, as someone else said, if you are uncomfortable with writing it down then you can just use abbreviations for people and events.

Same. Lots of abbreviations. But that's probably because I'm too lazy to right the whole word at 5 in the morning.
Jen was 13 years old. A fairly normal girl. She spent a lot of time online.
One day, she made a new friend. He liked the same bands, worried about the same subjects.
They decided to meet at the local mall. She went. So did he.
Only he wasn't in junior high.
HE WAS A 1500 LB GRIZZLY BEAR.
1 in 5 children online get eaten by wild bears. And you didn't even know bears could type.
