Sickest feeling in a dream ever - Cannot describe

When I was younger, about 12 or 13 (now 25), I had a few dreams, non lucid, whereby I was standing there, nothing around and suddenly this huge rock ball would come rolling towards me, quite slowly but very powerfully. As it got closer, I had this sickest feeling I have ever felt. Not sick as in pukey or emotionally upset, just a feeling that I cannot describe and it was horrible. It got stronger and stronger as this thing came towards me until I woke up.

Thing is...even after waking up I could still feel it and for days afterwards, all I had to do was think of that dream and I could get it back. Even now, if I really concentrate on it, I can start to feel it. I had 2 dreams like that. 1 was the giant rock, another was a metre stick hurtling towards me.

Has anybody else ever had such a feeling? I'd love not to be alone!
Lucid at least once a week, mainly on weekends.

I also have a sickening feeling in dreams ... but its not easy to describe. Its not a scenario, and more of a gutwrenching feeling.

Kind of like something massively dense and heavy forced into a tiny tiny little space .. like a pinhead.
      Like a black hole maybe.
Or an elephant standing on a pin.

      Never mind me.. sounds wierd..

I've had nightmares like that before. Sort of an undescribable fear/panic/intense feeling like pain but not quite. I can't remember what it was that scared me so, it was before I kept a journal.

      gutwrenching feeling[/b]
That's exactly the right phrase, Placebo. It's just like that. Thank goodness I don't have them very often!

Yes, I've felt it before a few times, and likewise I can't really describe it.

I used to get it when I had these dreams where there was a huge explosion, like a supernova or atom bomb, that wiped everything out. Just before the explosion occured and I woke up, I got a sensation, like I knew I was about to die and my whole soul just, well, gets shit out my pants or something, I dunno.

This reminds me of when I was about 10. Whenever I got a high fever, I would sleep walk. I would always scare my parents because I always said I was going to die over and over. It felt so terrifying, so real. I felt a sickening feeling in my gut that told me that I was couldn't live any longer. In the morning, I just remembered it was a sickening dream until I found out that I was sleep walking. Just my experiance...

I use to experience stuff like that, when I was a wee lad and I got sick. I don't remember the details at all, I don't even remember if I was dreaming, awake, or falling asleep... but I think I would look at the ceiling and see strange things - for instance, a scary face, or a vortex sucking the ceiling in. Meanwhile I would hear the most heart-pounding noises. I don't remember what they were like, but I do remember they would be very silent, silent... then WHOOSH, suddenly crescendo. Very frightening. Now that I think about it, it may have been HI.

Every once in a while, I remember the exact feeling I got during those times. It's not fun.

I can get such a feeling in real life. You feel like your stomach is a hole and it once to swallow your body. Gut Wrenching Fear? Must be.

Nuclear war!!! Yes had that dream... a few times, and it definitely produced a gut-wrenching sickness. I remember looking up from the city and seeing mushrooms clouds expanding in the distance, waiting for the blast, and thinking "You stupid, stupid f*ckers... ". Another time the same happened - I was on a hillside and the blast lifted up an entire 4-lane suspension bridge, which came hurtling towards me, seeming slow because it was a mile off. I remember looking around, sick and helpless, for something to hide behind with the growing awful realisation that this was rather pointless!

When I was little I used to have a nightmare that a giant was comming to get me, I could hear and feel his footsteps BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, faster and heavier, but never saw him, he was always just approaching (terrifying). This continued until one night I realised that the BOOM BOOM was the sound of my heart beating in my ears, and it all stopped.

When I was a kid, I used to have these nightmares in black & white that would give me a similar feeling.

I felt like I was shrinking. The only way I could describe the feeling is by saying that I just felt a huge overwhelming feeling. Even though I wasn't always shrinking, I was still feeling overwhelmed.

In a seperate dream, I had the same horrible feeling. In this nightmare, I was staring at this electric circuit (Im an Electrical Engineering student) that I was looking at the day before in my waking life, and I started becoming an electron. It was horrible b/c it was beyond my control. I was shrinking more and more. The overwhelming feeling was overcoming me, but then I woke up.
