Here's my experience.

I once tried to write on a chalkboard.. but the chalk wouldn't leave any mark.

I had a dream lately where I was writing a russian test in school. I could write perfectly well, but the letters were weird, unknown to me. I was looking at the paper for a moment and I couldn't understand anything I had written.

Definitely a slippery task. The funny thing was that I would jut make excuses as to why it wasn't working.

I'm having alot of fun here. I'll be trying to write now as a DS. Maybe It'll wake my dream ass up.

Crazy man, last night I had a dream I was walking down a street I know from when I was in elementary school, a street I use to take to school in my home town Manhattan, lower east side called rivington street, anyway I was standing there and birdman ("Baby" the birdman; from cash money records lil wayne and them) walked by me, he was walking all cocky like he could buy anything, he had on black jeans and his tradmark white wife beater t-shirt, anyway he walked by me and I looked at him as he was passing and said whats up all he did was keep walking straight and with his back turned to me walking away he threw out his right hand after he passed me sort of like a hand signal that meant,"yea you hi ok bye". It was strange that he'd be in my dreams, It's probably cuz the night before I was talking to someone about him becuz that person's mother cleans his house and she said he has huge garbage bags of money all over the house that he uses just to throw money in the air and on the floor all over the house..... Anyway then also before I went to bed I put a pen and pad next to my pillow to write down any dreams that occurred, and right after I saw birdman "baby", I had an FA that I woke up and took my pen and pad and wrote "saw birdman" and that I was soo tired I wrote a few things and went back to sleep. Well this morning I goto look at my pad to see what I wrote and my pad was blank........

Do You still remember the image clearly of writing that down. or just the thought of it.
I can still clearly picture how difficult it was to put those words down. and how the words swirled around.
Any way cool trick!

I owe this thread a thumbs up because before reading this yesterday i haven't had a false awakening about writing ny lucid for about a year and a half. The same night i read this i have a long lucid and i had a false awkening and i wrote down so much notes and thought to myself thank f**k i wrote that down right away because i will never recall alll of that and that in the morning and that was very true.

The image is clear, I even had the same penmanship/handwriting, yet it was in blue ink. my real pen was black.

thats the same way i felt when i wrote my notes down too, i was like thank god mission accomplished writing some good detailed notes to recite later and the wording was perfect I can go back to bed, I wake up the next morning to a blank pad like awww shit FA was so real the words were clearly written I even still have memory of how it looked on the paper my subconsoius and memory got twirled up and my subconsoius is a mother fucker, he even got my memory in on it!!!!! how obsurd.

I have had numerous dreams where I have tried to write something down. Most of the time it is extremely difficult - it either comes out as scribble, or comes out backwards, or doesn't come out at all. However, there have been a few times where I could write with ease. The same goes for reading in my dreams. Often times I can't make out what it says. Sometimes i just "Know" what it says without being able to "read" it. Sometimes it is backwards. Other times yet I can clearly and distinctly make out what it says and read it just fine. One of the things that bothers me alot is I can never seem to use the phone in my dreams! I am trying to call 911 for an emergency and I always misdial the very last number. I'll get 912 or something like that. And I constantly try and try. I get the 9 and the first 1 just fine. I start to concentrate and I see the 1 and I am going to press it but for some reason it is as though something or someone takes over my hand/finger and I am forced to press the wrong button. It's very fustrating.

Does everyone dream in color? I always dream in color. And I always have music playing in the majority of my dreams. Like it's own dream soundtrack. Often it's music I've never heard before - sometimes just instrumental - sometimes with voices and lyrics (sometimes I can't make out the words - sometimes I can). Often when I awake suddenly from the dream I can still hear the music (and sometimes still see the images) for a little while before they fade away. wondering if that ever happens to anyone else.

p.s. also sometimes I have writen stuff down on a tablet next to my bed while I was dreaming.. I can never make out what it says though. It's really bad handwriting like worse than my five year olds! lol

I dream in color. But the music thing... I haven't really paid attention to. I always have music in my head so for it to be in my dreams might just be something natural. I gotta litsten for it next.
