      Being cautious the next day

What if an LD was so vivid, that you felt embarrassed/cautious the next day about it?

Example: Interacting with a DC, then the following day thinking they know about what you spoke to them about?

Lol, bad wording, but did anyone ever have this?

I imagine it would be a funny feeling!

I will have an LD tonight.. keep positive!

Like having lucid sex with someone and then seeing them the next day? Nah, just remind yourself it was only a dream and they are non the wiser.

Maybe it was a shared dream and they dreamt y'all had sex also!

Then it would just be hilarious!

well i dont get the next day embarassment, but lots of times my LDs are so vivid I have a really hard time believing that it's really a dream...I keep thinking I must have taken some kind of drug or gone crazy enough to think that I'm dreaming when I'm not...and that makes me feel self concious about doing everything that I would like to do in an LD

I think it makes me more comfortable around some people, like if I talked to them the night before in my dream its more like I know them. I guess the opposite could also be true, where someone is hostile towards you in a dream and you don't like them as much in real life anymore.

I've been convinced I've had conversations IRL, but it turned out they were just in dreams. I argue until someone points out that I probably dreamed it. Then I always shut up and feel stupid.

      My solution

Haha i too found it hard to see people in the waking world that i had seen in my dreams. My solution is to try to change them slightly ex. Change their hair color or style. When my best friend has rely long red hair i know it totaly cant be her.

      Cool

My grandmother and I had a strikingly similar dream one time. We both dreamed we saw my grandfather, who was deceased, at the foot of our beds. (unless it was a ghost and really happened but I think I prefer to believe it was a dream)

I've had 2 so far -- 1 in 1997 and 1 on September 29 of this year. The one in 1997 was when I dreamt Sega made a Fighting Vipers handheld game that made strange noises when a player lost the game. The other in 2007 is in my dream journal.

On the 30th of September, I had felt very cautious after having my first dream on the 29th where One Tree Hill star James Lafferty played a human science experiment strapped to a hospital bed-like platform waiting for an operation on his body (similar to how Michelle Ryan's character from Bionic Woman, Jaime Sommers, was in that exact same situation, but in her scene in the pilot, she freaked out after finding out what the scientists had done to her body).

I felt weird after waking up both times, and kept hearing those strange noises and the gibberish of the other character in 2007. Both of those times I tried to stop the feeling by playing Killer Instinct on my Game Boy (that was in 1997) while going with my mom and her sister (her son as well) to a store; the other, I watched a playthrough of Killer Instinct 2 on YouTube just to get rid of the feeling the next day.

*Don't be alarmed if you see this post and find that an actor's name is given a pretty color. I'm very creative and like doing that.

The only bad thing about all this is if you get the bitch pregnant. Then your talking dream diapers, dream bottles, and if you dont wanna stay with her, dream child support... always wrap up when LD sexing

...and it happened again last night. I'm in a teen scene stereotype--the long road trip in a car and I hear dialogue (a young man about 22 or 23 (he's born in 1985 either way) talking to his girlfriend) followed by loud college rock music with electric guitar chords strikingly similar to Jeff Hardy's theme in WWE in I think D-flat or D-minor. Except here, the dream character was played by Scott Michael Foster from teen dramas Quarterlife and Greek (the former appears on NBC and was canceled after one episode and the latter is on ABC Family and I'm afraid it might be canceled because the actor playing their main character is on an NBC drama). Maybe this is telling me not to take teen dramas so seriously? I'm not exactly sure...
