      Evocation of emotion

Ok so im asking you to describe something you have seen recently that has evoked a measure of emotion in you could be any emotion, but you have to describe what it was you saw, it could be from tv from a dream something you saw on the side of the street, anything.

Post pictures too!! it shoudl be interesting to see how others react to the things that we have seen and experienced.

I bring this up because I just saw something that hit a chord... I am still trying to discern what it is it makes me feel... perhaps wonder... or sadness? I dont know....

Imagine yourself walking through the forest, and you come across a monster, its roughly humanoid in form, its face is nasty and toothy and deformed, its hand tipped with razor sharp claws, it looks more beast than man. Its sitting cross legged up against a tree, its left arm has been torn off at the shoulder and the rest of it is beaten up pretty badly as well...

But in its one remaining hand, is an blue green iridecent feather, its head is tilted down so that you can tell the beast was admiring the feather when it died. It looks as if it were praying over the feather, the shafted light from the forest catches the feather and makes it glow.

I have to figure a way to get it as an image you all can see...

Even though the monster was hideous It was beautiful at the same time the duality and contrasts were so powerful.

And ... a muffin to anyone that knows where this imagery came from
I will get a pic up as soon as I can too

drat I need an upload account.. well heres a link to where I put them on my DA page.

      Wow that's pretty detailed.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, since it's not really an abnormal kind of thing that I saw, but.. a couple of nights ago I had a dream that I was a teen mom (18 yrs), and I was holding my 2 yr old son. He was just the cutest little thing, and he was so loving. In my dream, having a kid so early completely changed my life and ruined a lot of things for me, but I remember just looking at his face and feeling so happy, like just being able to hold this little boy made all the sacrifices worth it. My arms were getting sore from holding him, but I refused to put him down because I loved him too much!

Yeah, I have to say, I rarely have dreams that elicit THAT much emotion. I wonder if that's how real parents feel about their kids.

My 9yo cousin...I was sitting at my computer reading some important stuff for school. She came in and hugged me from behind like she wanted my attention...I was so focused on what I was doing that I was sorta ignoing her...Not completely but I was pretty devoted to the reading. I never really explained that to her.

She asks, after a little while "are you mad at me?"

      I felt soooooo bad

After I told her that it was important stuff it was okay, but I really felt bad about that...
In this crazy world if they don't consider you mad, then you have no confirmation of your own sanity, do you?
Imagine if this crazy world thought you were sane?! Oh my God, worst nightmare!
