Thread: Dream Character Distractions

Something i notice is if i question my state during a dream i often get dream characters trying to distract me from performing a reality check by talking to me or whatever. (because dream characters are evil) So what i have now is i have trained myself to not let anything distract me when performing one.

Anyone else find this?

LOL how about if a hot crankin girl comes up to you and kisses you.? how would you react? that's just me thinking

Look at it this way, it's a great idea to train yourself to avoid distractions. If you have noticed already, Focus is [Distraction's enemy. Focus is what's going to help you a lot in this part. Now...if we knew a source of focus...mmm..perhaps you can try meditation to stabilize your dreams by maintaining a focused pase (environment)...Believe me when I tell you that focus is a main factor when it comes to keeping a sharp mind and therefore you will not get distracted at all.

Heard about that before. It's probably just a subconcious with negative attitude. It's probably because you expect it to be evil that it is evil. So your the problem. Be more positive about whats going to happen to you when you try to become lucid and you'll get more positive results.

YES!! I've only had one lucid dream, but in that ludid dream a dream character suddenly appeared when i was about to fly out the window. She seemed very irratated with me and demanded to know why I was trying to control the dream. lol

Yeah, I'v been distracted, but not by a dream character. Just my mind altogether. It was my only chance of getting lucid and my eye sight freaked.

I was sitting at a table, I see a girl with two noses. I then look at my hands and think "If these arnt normal, I'm dreaming", but then my eye sight goes extremely dizzy for about five seconds. So I forget about doing a reality check, I don't really know what happaned in my dream after that. Maybe she grew two more arms.

Today i have been doing lots of reality checks and it's crazy how many times distractions have come along like they do in dreams. Like as i question whether i am dreaming the phone rings, then someone's at the door, then my mother just comes from nowhere and starts talking to me, then my cat starts crying.

It has been great for training myself though.

I have got to have a lucid through a reality check tonight because i have done lots yesterday and today.

Just remember Focus is the key to a better mind and a better life
