I think I had my first lucid dream?

      I wasn't even fully trying.

What happened was I went to sleep tired as hell, and set my alarm really early(cause it's exam time at college so I wake up early to do homework). When the alarm rang at 6am, it work me up from a dream I was having where I was at a music store. I hit the snooze button, and I went back to sleep. I noticed that I had resumed the dream I was previously in. I wasn't in control but I was aware, and that's when it hit me. I was just thinking to myself "wtf? am I lucid" When I realized that I was lucid, I tried focusing my thoughts on the moon. Everything faded out and then I was on the moon.(in a space suite unfortunately) neways I was standing there, turning my head around looking for the earth, and when I found it, I decided I wanted to walk towards it. After I took my first step I fell down and started rolling like I was rolling down a hill. and I just rolled for what seemed an eternity, I lost control of my dream when I started rolling. When I got back on my feet, I still wasn't in control, aliens arrived and then I woke up.

I was aware, but It didn't feel as intense as I thought it would have been. Like, I felt as if I could have just opened my eyes and woken up, like, I was still awake, but by keeping my eyes closed I was dreaming. I didn't have time to attempt it again because of college :-(

Yes, it just wasn't an extremely intense one. They aren't necesarilly all so vivid. However, congrats on your first lucid! You got to the moon in your first? That's awesome!

Yes, most of my lucid dreams haven't been too vivid, and have lacked some control and clarity I would have liked.

The few lucids I have had that have been really vivid, with me in full control, make it all worth it.
