WHEN WATCH CHIMES
Glance at your hands.
Really look at them, and notice what they look like. Because when you are dreaming they will look very different. Sometimes you may have more than 5 fingers to a hand

Once you make the connection that you are not dreaming, tell yourself
"I am not dreaming because my hands are normal."
You have to make the connection, because simply looking at your hands does not induce Lucid Dreams. Your mind has to know the difference. This goes for any reality check,
DO NOT HALF ASS IT! Put thought into your RC's.
Look at your watch, turn away and then look back at the watch. If the time is the same, then you are not dreaming. If it is 5 hours earlier than the first time you checked you ARE DREAMING! Again, you must really make the connection.
Plug your nose, and try to breathe through it. This is a great RC. Basically, what you do is just plug your nose and try to breathe in through it and realize you cannot because you are not dreaming. In a dream, when you plug your nose you can STILL breathe through it.
JUMP!! :yumdumdoodledum:My first lucid dream was induced by jumping. I did it in my dream, and when I never fell back down I realized it was a dream. So a good RC would be to Jump normally, thinking that you WILL NOT come back down. And when you do, make the connection. the connection is that you aren't dreaming.
