Soaring in the sky, but not above the roof tops..

I was around a secptic, my dad and one other. So I just had to brag, and showed him I could soar in the magnetic field of earth, using my own.. (Bad move BTW but that is another telling.) Anyways, I went ahead and did it, to shut his mout.. First off a hillside, going down. But, then I could only like "glide", not back up hill... (Here I recall thinking; Oh my, if I cannot fly back up, I will have a long walk!) Funny sensation. And then later, I got of from the ground, but could not get higher than the roof toops, just one time I reallt went for it, cause of nag, but then I was heading twords some cables so I had to "abort" and drifted back down.. Anyways, I am beginning to think that other "people" in your dream, can affect to some exctent if allowed to, thus limiting oneself indirectly..
