      Staying in a Dream

Funny how when I was younger and would have nightmares I would try to end the dream by throwing myself in front of a car which would wake me up. Now I want to stay. I could also end the dream by facing what was chasing me. That would also wake me up.

As a teenage virgin I would dream about having sex with someone and just when it was about to happen I'd wake up. I'm beginning to think that trying something you don't know how it will feel might wake me up... facing the monster, getting hit with the car, having sex. What do you all think?

You're right. The easiest way to stay in a dream is to do nothing that is remotly exciting . You can still have fun though, talking to dream characters is a good idea and it's often funny or even enlightening. Of course it's your choice of what to do but the rish you take of doing something exciting is that it might wake you up. Lucid sex does almost all the time, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy yourself while it lasts! I think you need more dream control before rushing into exciting things. If you just want to make the dream last longer for now do things that are calm and possible. If you think about it that's just as exciting as everyday life so I'm sure you can still think of fun things to do.
