Dying in dreams

What does it feel like? Its never happend to me, even though I've tried to once. What happens after you die?

i think you wake up....as the psyche cannot process beyond this...

its different for different people...also on a time by time basis...ive known people who have reported going to the afterlife and all that...other who simply wake up or start a new dream...the way it feels is also different...some people actually feel pain in their dreams, other dont....etc.

Werbern seems right. Everything else about dreams is purely what you think will happen. So however your subconcious perceives dying in your dreams is what will happen.

Hmmm i died in my dream when i was really young...... I fell in a giant hole and woke immedietly.. but that is a good topic :-)

Yep... same here. Except it was a really really high junglejim (climbing play thing for kids). Really high - like into clouds.

I died in a dream once when I was younger, the dream continued I was just really scared and there wasn't anything to see, it was like, emptyness but with emotion

i have died in several dreams. sometimes i have false awakenings, but mostly i just watch the dream finish. these are the ways i have died:
in a battle
executed
killed by my best friend(3 times)

Every time I've died in a dream, I woke up immediately.

Once I was a polar bear in a dream, and I got shot by a friend. It was really psycho because the bullet was about a foot in diameter and three feet long and it came out of a normal gun.

Anyway, I've also been stabbed, slashed with lightsabers, had my neck broken by a psycho chick who I met the day before I had the dream, and I've been nuked a few times too. Those are the funnest. You see this mushroom cloud, and you just think to your self: "Man this sucks." or occasionally: "Mmmm...shrooms." And then you're gone.

Mostly when I die in dreams It’s usually as a result of getting shot and everything just goes to black for a bit and that’s the end I either wake up or another dream starts. The most vivid death I had was where I got shot in the lungs ended up chocking on my own blood and could taste the blood in my mouth. Suffice to say it’s not something I wish to repeat.

I think how disturbing death in dreams is depends quite a lot on the method.

I meant mentally. maybe you dont trust your friend, maybe your subconcious is tring to tell you somethign, or its just nothing

I sometimes wake up or just go to a new dream.......Mostly go to a new dream unless the dream before it was scary as hell..><
