      Question Wow...I'm in a STUPID situation...

      Alright, whenever I get into a lucid dream, no matter how many important things I have planned to do, the first thing I do automatically is try to fire bullets from my hand. Like my hand were a gun or something.

      Like, if I need to go find somebody, I'll be like "Nah, a got to shoot my hand like a gun first!" I have a feeling that I'm going to have to learn how to do that before I can progress with more important LD stuff.

      I guess its not really lucid then? Because it sounds like you arn't able to control your dream. Maybe you are just thinking your going lucid, but you arn't?


      I mean if you were lucid, then youd be able to NOT go firing stuff from your hand

      I know how you feel. Just make up your lucid goals before you go to bed. I found out that having no plans makes me fly around and soon lose lucidity because I spend too much time thinking about what I should do. Just decide on something and really decide to do it in your next LD, keep it on your mind.

      Control and lucidity aren't the same thing. I was fully lucid last morning, but I couldn't fly and was sucked into a scary dark closet, I had no power.
      Also, I believe that dreaming about being lucid is impossible. Because lucidity is knowing that you're dreaming and you can't dream about knowing that you're dreaming. That is the definition of a LD. :p

      Lucid dreaming doesn't mean controlling. Lucid dreaming by definition, is knowing you're dreaming. Control comes in second

      So what exactly do you need help with, do you want to know how to shoot bullets from your hand, or how to not do that. If you do want to shoot bullets try making noises with you mouth, it worked for my cousin once. If you don't want to shoot bullets from your hand either set goals, or in your dream stop for a minute and figure out what else to do.
