      Exclamation IS this possible?!

I was talking to my Dad about lucid dreaming and how they look just like real life etc. Well anyway, he told me that every dream he dreams is a lucid dream where everything looks like real life, he's got total control, pretty much the whole deal.

I asked him WOW how long have you been able to do this? He said pretty much ever since he was a kid and he never really had to learn how to do it, it just came natural. I know he is telling the truth because we are always honest to each other. My question is, is this very common? Because I thought being able to have lucid dreams permanently every night takes years of dedication and training? Just amazes me really hehe my Dad must really be lucky! lol

Well training actually comes in different ways. I'll bet that, as a kid, when he found out that he could do this, he just continued to experiment with it and try different things and learn different levels of control. In a way, this is training, though it's different from, say, coming to Dream Views and reading all of these techniques and things and trying to learn, through text, what to do.

My lucid dream frequency was much more active, when I was a kid. As I grew up, I just kind of stopped, and then when I got back into it, after coming to Dream Views, it was like re-learning all over again. I've gained a lot more control, since then, but my frequency is nowhere near where it was when I was like 8-9 years old.

Ask him how many a week. He probably only remembers the dreams that he can control. The average person has 4 to 6 dreams every night, but usually only remembers the last ones (which is the most likely to be lucid.)

Some people do have to gift, others have to work for it like me.

I wouldn't doubt that there are people who just naturally are conscious and aware during their dreams.

I would be interested to know what your dad does with his lucidity; you should ask him what kind of stuff he does and if there are any recurring environments or things that he does.
