Okay, usually I would say I'm the type of person that can realize a dream most of the time. Not from RC's but just from knowing.

However, last night I had my first real nightmare in years. Long story short...My brother ended up getting seriously injured (in my dream) and I went through every emotion I can imagine if that had really happened.

Now that I look back on the dream there were so many indications it was not real...however, i overlooked all of them.

Funny, I even called my brother (he lives in anothers state) today to make sure he was okay.

Just a note to others, I woke up truely happy it was only a dream. I'm sure in the reality this affects me because my emotions were so real. It's funny how a bad dream can actually equal happiness in reality and I suppose the opposite is true for some as well.

Anyways, I know that some experienced lucid dreamers worry about losing the affects non-lucid dreams and I think this is impossible - a good thing.
