Repetitive dream characters

I have noticed that certain dream characters appear in my lucid dreams more often than others. Like for example last night i was sitting in a pub with a friend when i suddenly noticed that the bar girl had been in other lucids before, (nobody i knew) then as i realized she was turning around to pour the drinks smiling as if yeh you have realized. This also happens with people i know as well. Who else gets this?

I've had it, cant put my finger on a face, but its people you see and instantly this feeling that you've seen them before, yet you don't know who they are. That and water seems to be a recurring theme in alot of my dreams.

I've had that happen to me. My main repeating character would come in different forms but there was always something about him/her/it that would clue me in. More often than not it was grey eyes. After that it was the voice. Sometimes I was afraid of this being. Sometimes not. It was always the same thing though and I dont' think I've ever seen it's true form.

You shoulda talked to her. I was just about to ask her alot of questions about why she was in my lucids but then i couldn't be bothered.

I've only really had one DC which kept reappearing in my dreams, and it was this little girl with dark hair, pale skin, dark eyes, and most of the time was always naked. This was the DC that taught me how to fly in a non-lucid dream, and kept reappearing either physically into other dreams, or as a presence. Eventually, in one of my lucid dreams, I remembered to find her, in which I was led to this hospital (simply by sensing her out, following a feeling... I can't really explain more than that). After encountering her in one of the intensive care wards, I did ask her if she was my dream guide, but she answered No before I even finished the question, stating she wasn't my dream guide... shame really, but after that LD, I haven't seen her since...

(and by the way, I have had a nightmare about that game... and I tell you, I was shit scared, as I was getting chased by the game's spectral antagonist, Alma)... but I assure you, that particular DC was not creepy at all... I admit, the nakedness was peculiar, but that's how that DC is... some of them change, some don't... Plus, this DC did teach me how to fly in my dreams, so she is hardly malevolent.

Well, the only charictors that seem to re-occer in my dreams currently are my family (my parents and my brother, though my dog, who we just got over the summer last year, doesn't apper that often quite yet), and, sometimes, a few on my friends on AIM (sometimes even appering at house IN PERSON o.o). I rarely seem to make up dream charactors currently, although i've had 2 intresting 'dream helpers' in some dreams i've had around before starting luciding last year (both were female, one black, one white...the black one had a 'stop watch', and, the white one owned a hot air balloon. both have only appered in my dreams once, though). As for charictors OUTSIDE my friends and family, usually it's just cartoon and video game charictors that'll apper (I AM a gamer, anyways...though not as hardcore as my brother), often in 3rd person. Yeah....I really don't have much imagionation, do I? Well...i'm working at it. o.o;;;

Hmmn. I've had a few repetitive DCs But usually I have a whole new scenario each time.
