      Problem solving & creating knowledge.

      Hi,

I'm very interested in the possibilties of problem solving through LD's. One mention I found in the Lucid dream book is to summon an expert; for example if there's a physics question, ask Einstein. When we solve a problem in an LD (I've yet to have one! ), do you believe we can use more knowledge than we consciously possess, or can we somehow 'create' real world knowledge in an LD through the use of an expert as above?

Also, many people know what Einstein looks like, but assuming you didn't and you only knew him as a physics expert, do you think you could still be capable of meeting him as a DC in an LD?

Looking forward to your thoughts and ideas!
      FF.

I have two thoughts on this.

      1) Yes you could meet him, and yes you would get an answer which consciously you might never have thought of, thus creating the illusion you are getting the right answer.

      2) You are dreaming, and what you get in a dream might logically make sense, but whether it does is the question. or example you could play a guitar expertly in a dream, doesn't mean to say you are hitting all the right chords etc...

There is the possibility that you can unearth something which was previously in your subconciousness.

You may find that you get an answer that makes so much sense in the dream, but when you wake up you realise that you were just told complete cryptic nonesense.

Too right, I love asking questions in dreams and getting what seems like an inspirational answer, only to wake up and realise how silly it was lol.

THis could happen, but once again, it's sometimes incredibly hard to remember verbatim what a DC said to you. It also could make sense in the dream, but be complete jargin in real life.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.
