i had a really weird dream last night. i wont go into details but anyways, in my dream i was reading a play or script or something, and in it there was the word "Pigh", and "Pighed" (as in Sigh and Sighed). So this should have been an RC right??? well i didnt pick it up and i just took it in as Sigh and Sighed. kinda gay. im getting frustrated. does anyone know of any tips on how to not go blind on another RC? thanks, all feedback is great!

The problem with this, is in your dreams, half the stuff you see (as wacky as it may be) is just accepted by you. You're not really aware, so you pass it off as whatever. If you were walking down the street, seeing some dude getting raped by a pink elephant, you'd ignore it and be like.. "oh.. whatever."

If we were always aware like this, Lucid dreaming would happen a LOT more than it does...but the whole process in training the body to do RC whenever something weird comes up...and, really, what you said happened wasn't THAT weird...I mean, I had people TELL ME I WAS DREAMING and not do an RC...thats like, total BS. Only thing I can tell you is probably what you already know; keep doing an RC anytime something out of the ordinary happens.

Man, oh man, oh man. I know exactly how you feel. my dreams are so completely out of the ream of ordinary that I'm constantly amazaed. For example, in one of my dreams I owned an Incan pyramid, you know, the stair stepped ones? and it was the end of the world, so I rented it to all these Incan's who wanted to wait for the end of the world in it. Then I went and stole one of their cars, but there was this guy under the hood, and he got out and attacked me when I started the engine! Get the picture? And this is just one of my dreams. I generally remeber three or four a night, no two ever the same, or ever with any bearing on reality. So yeah, join the club.

Two guys or two girls having sex? For your dream. Most of the time in dreams you don't actually read anything, if you had gone lucid and tried to read it it probably would have been just scribbles. Things that are "read" are really just planted into your mind, never actually going through the process of seeing the word, decoding it, assigning meaning... It's just too hard for a dreaming mind, so it bypasses all of that. That is why reading doesn't work well in lucid dreams.
