Thread: Have you wilded before going to bed?

I've only wilded betweem 6-10 am

Although ive never had a successful WILD- I have had 3 very close calls.

I went through sleeping paralysis, all the weird noises, shaking and stuff. But then my mum woke me up..This was in the morning.

The other 2 attempts were similar but not quite as good, they were before bed.

It is difficult to WILD before going to bed.

I almost did it last night when I was super tired, but my cat woke me up.

I was taking a nap in the afternoon and almost got it. I didn't even intend it for it to happen.

I've come very close. I entered the sleep state (i.e. noticable shift in consciousness) but was unable to facilitate a dream. Likely because I was not in REM sleep.

... Wait, Does that mean you can just lay there and "wait" for your body to enter REM if you do it not within REM period? Well I guess its good practice to get through SP before going to bed so you can get used to it for when you actually do it

Yes, probably. But God knows how long you'd be waiting. That's why it's always recommended to perform WBTB in unison with WILD.
