I've tried three times to create an energy ball using internal Chi power, and throwing it at something. Each time I am in the middle of trying to create it, I get woken up by an alarm clock. It's starting to freak me out!

Any idea what is causing this? I have read some advice here about getting too worked up, and waking yourself off, but the alarm clock seems to be timing itself to interrupt the process. Coincidence?
