Which book should I rent or buy? If I rent I will obviously just get both of them, but if I buy I only want to buy the best one. |

I recommend a book called Sleep Theives by Stanley Coren. It isn't really about LDs. However, it is extremely interesting and helps you understand many important things regarding the nature of sleep. |

You definitely need to buy 'Exploring the world of lucid dreaming' it is essential bit of kit for any lucid dreamer. It is one of the most important books available on the subject. It gives you all the practical applications and techniques for learning lucid dreaming whilst the other book 'Lucid Dreaming' gives more of a history and accounts of experiences as well as results of studies etc. You can never have too many books on the subject but 'Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming' is in a class of its own. |

buy the most recent one. I think there's 1997 or 1999 edition. |
