      Curse This Forum!

Just kidding. Haha. I love this place.

But seriously, I joined up with this place about 2 weeks ago and haven't had one lucid dream since! What's the deal with that? I think maybe it's because I think about it so much that can't just relax and do it. You know what they say, a watched pot never boils.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Let's see... did you pay us yet? I might be able to speed it up along a little. I accept paypal or mastercard.

Don't give up man! It took me a lot more then 2 weeks to have my first one. I haven't even gotten down my dream recall in 2 weeks when I started.

Well the thing is that I've been lucid dreaming pretty well for the last few months. But I'm sure that things will turn around soon, and my recall has gotten a lot better since joining here. So thats good, I can remember 2-3 dreams a night now.

Oh I see. In that case it's just a dry period. Relax and forget about LDing for a while and it'll come back. I've had tons of dry spells before.

It might be the forums also. I see that you've not had a LD since joining. You're probably too excited/stressed about it.

This forum helped me immensly. I went from not having regular lucid dreams(just random lucid moments every few months) to having them every other night on average. It only took me a week after getting serious about it. Begginers luck maybe.

This forum would do anything but curse anyone who spends time on it...the more time you spend thinking about LD's the more you will have...or get close to having.

bradybaker....I'll have been here 3 weeks on Tuesday....still nothing for me. I don't understand it, either, but I can't give up yet. I'm positive you'll get it, and probably before me. I have gleaned a lot of information off of this site, tho, so that's been a plus.

In the other hand, I'd never had a lucid dream in my life...that's untill I joined up over here. I've had to LD's so far, I woke up on both after being lucid for one second, but its a start.

After trying the WBTB method I visit this site to help me induce my lucid dreams and it works. 8)

I think this could be a knock on effect of being so into LDing that you want to chat and read about it all the time, but maybe this has taken your attention off actually practicing the techniques needed for successful Lucid dreaming.... maybe just a suggestion.
