      Question on Sleep.

hey, it's been a really long time since i've been to dream views, and i have a question that if answered...may solve all my problems.

Ok, just to get straight to the point, i've had like 5 LD's last year, and this year i've had none. I am not very consistent with my sleep though, so does having a good sleep schedule really help a lot for LDing.

I don't mean like the schedules on dreamviews that are made for dreaming, just like go to sleep at 10:00pm and wake up at 7:00am.
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

Oh and another thing...i always have problems with inner dialogue. Is it there a way to think of a scenario, but not have any inner dialogue?

Inner dialogue is mainly a product of an untamed ego, something virtually all of us have to deal with.

Its that endless thought-stream that never stops, no matter how hard we try, for just by thinking about not thinking, its using thought.

Try learning about meditation techniques (zen may be useful for your ambitions), and that will help you clear your mind of thoughts. Its hard, but its rewarding if done well.

I know from experience that by eliminating linguistic thought, it becomes easier to more vividly imagine scenes and events.

      Have fun!

I don't think the "times" of a sleep schedule have to be rigid but I definately know that getting over 8 hours of sleep will help with dream recall which may in turn help with realizing that you're dreaming.

Thanks for this information, i'm gonna give meditation a try tonight! Even though meditation is said to only be achieved well by those who have been doing it for years...and yet, i will still try.

Thank you so much Clairity! I can definitly see why i am not getting any recall at all now...It's because i either sleep like 5 hours or i oversleep like 14 hours.

Once again thank you both, I'm gonna go watch the Oscars!!
