Thread: Ever have a dream with Jason,Freddy,etc.?

I've had at least 3 nightmares inspired by the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. The first time I watched the first 3 movies in a row. The first 2 were just plain stupid, but the 3rd freaked the crap out of me! I woke up at 4am and did NOT want to go back to sleep. The second time I felt like I could watch the 3rd movie again since I'd already seen it and not have a nightmare...fat chance. Not quite sure what inspired the 3rd nightmare. Now, I usually have no more than one real nightmare a year and those seriously disturb me!

If one of those characters invade my dreams, they must beg for me not to be lucid. Or else they have to run.... run like hell *mwhaHAHA*

If I had a particularly bad day, I would will Freddy into my dreams so I could kick the crap out of him. Aside from that, not really.

The zombies from Michael Jackson's Thriller video sparked a lot of my childhood nightmares. But, seeing as how defending myself from them is how I learned to LD, I should be pretty thankful.

Call me weird, but I've always wanted to have a dream involving zombies. Something like the old Romero zombies where a group of people are forced to join together to conquer the zombies. I imagine it could be great fun taking out a whole slew of the undead.

Probably one of the most funniest dreams i ever had included Chucky ( from Child's Play ). Is standing at the bottom of my staircase, as I am standing at the top. I try to look down the staircase but i can barely see anything since it was so dark. Then he caught my eye, I then go down the stairs, and start beating the shit out of him.

I had a dream recently that could have turned into a nightmare, but if that happens I think I'll use that as a dream sign and try to become lucid. Now that I know about said signs, maybe I'll have some fun the next time one of them dares come into my subconscious uninvited!

I pity the fool!

I thought about just watching horror movies to induce nightmares, but I think that would just assure a trip to a new home with nice white walls and tight white coats.

as a kid i was scared shitless by freddy kruger and had at least 2 real bad nightmares with him, i remember one was on a night that my brother made me watch one of the movies. ive seen a couple of his movies when i got older and just thoguht they were funny, hes a pretty funny guy i dont have nightmares anymore really, last one i can remember was my mom died and that was terrible, the one before that someone in a costume from the movie scream was chasing me, but i stopped running and beat the shit outta him
