      Music and Dreams

      Hi, this is the first community forum I've ever signed up for. I find this place very interesting. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard music in there dreams, and if so, I'd like to hear your account of it.
      My favorite dreams are the ones where I am dreaming of music, and I've had many of them. I notice I have two types of these dreams. The first is when there are no visuals, its just the music. The second is when I'm actually coherent and can see around me, I have an instrument (usually a guitar).
      When I hear just the music it can get really grand in scale, like a huge symphony and the volume doesn't really get loud but gets 'intense'. I can feel the music coming out of me and I can sort of move the flow of the music by nudging it into different directions with my feelings/thoughts. Sometimes when I'm 'playing' with a simple melody I can hear lots of accompaniments that I couldn't even conceive of in the 'waking world'.
      I've never figured out how to induce these states, very rarely does it happen when I fall asleep while actually listening to music. I'd like to know if anyone else has had these experiences.

      Yes, I hear music in my dreams and often wake up with a tune in my head. I hear music when I'm meditating and WILDing sometimes too. I play music in my dreams quite a bit,... mostly guitar.

      I hear music in my dreams sometimes, but not often. When I do, it's usually "made-up" music that I've never heard before. What amazes me about these dreams is that the music sounds so good, and "professional". I wish I could remember this music when I wake up, I'd be rich! Unfortunately, I'm no componist nor a musician. But I enjoy music dreams.

      Yes I hear music in the my dreams one time. Normally when their is music in my dreams I hear it for a few seconds after I wake up. Once I was messing with music sound effects, and another I wasn't lucid and my mind made up a song, but I forgot it.

      music is much betting in dreams. once a bum played at a 3 threaded guitar and i almost started to cry cuz it sounded that good. it didn't really but i got caught by the song anyway.

      To play guitar in dreams feel good to. Always when i play guitar in dreams it goes so smooth and i don't use to play wrong.
