      so close

last night i was very close to achieving lucidity. I was having a dream that was very real and detailed and in the dream i was near my computer. I cant remember now exactly what i was doing but i do remember that in the dream i suddenly got the fealing that i might be dreaming because i could not remember how i got into the situtuation that i was in at the time. I then remembered to do a reality test. So i went over to my computer and looked at the time on the computer. It dindnt seem to tell the time but it looked more like windows was having some kind of problem. But the thing is, is that it looked like a typical problem that windows would have and didnt look like anything out of the ordinary . I then decided to look for a clock . i found one that was in working condition but everytime i tried to look at the time i would be distracted by some stupid occurance and started to get frustrated. the harder i tried to attempt the RT the harder it became to attempt . I was determinded to firgure out if i was dreaming or not. Im sure that that would be considered and extremely low rate of lucidity, but eventually everything went black, and not having conviced myself that i was dreaming, i didnt have the chance to think of useing techniques for maintaining the lucidity. Im hoping the next time that i have a dream it will have the opposing outcome. But at least i made it to what i think is the start of a journey of lucid dreaming. I feel that i really need this to work being that i have major anxiety problems and am on medication for it that doesnt really seem to do anything but keep me from having anxiety attackts , which to me is not enough. i feel that if i am able to achieve this then i will eventually be able to train my mind into doing other things like being resistant to the effects of anxiety. So the journey begins
Reality is only a state of mind....

hey steve its me travis, zero10951. I have had similiar experience the other day, my dream kept fading and i kept telling myself i was dreaming but it kept wanting to fade away. I did the dream spinning and that helped, but then i tried to fly and woke up. I guess it was just me doubting that i could fly.
