just had my first WILD... :D

OK well as the title suggests I just had my first WILD and I really feel like sharing the experience so here goes.

I wasn't actually setting out to WILD at all, I was just having an afternoon in bed to catch up on sleep. I'd been sleeping and waking quite a few times, and then I started drifting off again. I could feel that I was about to sleep.. so, on a whim, I just decided to try and remain conscious and see what happened.

Firstly I got the vibrations. I've had these before, and they were just like before.. vibrating, that weird feeling like you're being pulled in your bed... then the HI. At first some kind of house.. then a kind of, skeleton face.. I wasn't too pleased to see it but I just ignored it.. a more human figure appeared behind it very soon, anyway.

Then the most amazing, truly amazing thing happened. I went from looking at vaguely formed, half-images, to watching a world, a fully developed, crystal clear world, come into being in front of my very eyes. It was like i'd stepped into someone else's body.. a second ago i'd been lying in bed, and now I was on my feet, in a completely different place.

Funnily enough but the world i started off in was in the simpsons. I saw homer, and marge, and others... another highlight of the remainder of the dream was running out of a building, and running down the road, feeling the wind against my face. I actually felt cold, the wind felt so real.

Anyway a while later I woke up (actually had a false awakening but didn't recogise it!) then woke up for real.. then was too excited to get back to sleep so came on here to share! If you read all that then thanks.. lucid dreaming is truly amazing.

p.s. for the record, the time that elapsed from deciding to remain conscious to getting into a dream was no longer than 1 minute. This was because I was already 'in the sleep zone' and had just briefly woke up.

      Hiya.

This is how i love to WILD. If im having a morning that i am waking and going back to sleep alot, then i am pretty much certain i can WILD. I used to enter SP conciously, without knowing anything about it. Scary stuff D:

      Good job!

Nice job on the WILD. I've been trying to have one unsuccessfully for the past couple of nights. Perhaps I should just let it come to me like yours did.

yeah, it's way better than lying in bed counting for half an hour.. life's too short for that ... i would love to be able to WILD regularly, in the way that i did today.. think i'm gonna work at that.. as well as the actual dream itself, even just the experience of watching your body fall asleep and having this world materialise is pretty amazing...
