Idea!

I have had this kl idea, which I dont know if it will work but am going to try anyway.
I like writing, so I decided that I would write about a place that I would like to visit in my dreams, a dream world. Like describe it and everything. I will have a clear image of what this place looks like in my mind, and then as im going to sleep read my writing through several times. Im going to write it as if Im actually there. For example As I walk down a long cobbled path I see in the distance..... ect ect. I suppose this is a similar idea to drawing a place, but I think it could work with writing about it.

Nice idea, have you heard of the dream crossroads? its a place someone made up using graphic design so people can create it in their dream and try and meet other lucid dreamers there. You probably have but ill mention it anyway

EmilySian, it sounds like you're trying to do "dream incubation" where you immerse yourself in a scene and then try to dream about it.

I use dream incubation every once in a while. You can actually use it to become lucid, incubate a room in which RC is written all over the wall. This will remind you to do a reality check and go lucid.
