      I'd love to have an LD on a special occasion.. it would make the day all that much better (and sometimes it happens.. sometimes it doesn't)!

      I usually have them if I'm in a place other than my bed. So if you're at relatives at those times then maybe.

      How can you throw a "surprise" party? Is the party SYOB (summon your own beer)? *Runs to ask pretty girl to be my date, you know who *



      I have a theory: Dr. Laberge talked about how our mind had lots and lots of schemes that were interconnected. Maybe because special events include a lot of unusual things (cakes, parties...) the lucid dream scheme is partially activated (not enough to notice). Then when we go to bed and our mind is sorting things out for permanent storage it comes across that scheme and causes you to assess your reality.

      What about a reverse surprise party? I call up all my friends individually and tell them I'm not having a party for my birthday. Just come over and take me out to dinner and some drinks.
