My first is my most memorable, not necessarily because of the dream itself, but because of what happened after.

I was little, probably around 7, and I laid down for a nap and then "woke up" and I didn't know it was a dream. I found out that I had the ability to fly/hover 1 foot above the ground on my belly. I would jump up and bellyflop and then just hover around my hallways, kitchen, living room, etc.

When I woke up, it felt like I was still in the dream obviously, as I couldn't imagine that I was actually asleep through all of that. Then my parents pulled in the driveway. I ran to the front door and started fantasizing about how we'd be famous because I was "The Boy That Could Fly" and all that. I was ready to show them my super powers, I waited excitedly at the door. My dad opened it and there I was.

"Dad, look at this. I can fly!"

I then proceeded to jump up and bellyflop straight onto our hardwood floor. I was confused, he was confused.

"No, wait! I can do it, watch!"

I got up, and yes, I did it again. He was dumbfounded, and, looking back on it, that night my parents were probably having a serious talk about what Special Ed schools I'd be going to when I was older
