Is it really that effective? I haven't tried it yet but I know if I wake up and stay up for too long after as much as six hours sleep I would probably struggle to get back to sleep, especially if I stayed up for 90 minutes. |

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
I could probably stump up for 5 hours sleep if I went to bed early enough. Trouble is though in my house I have kids who get up fairly early so If i get up too early and stay up for ninety mins I may not get that much sleep in after that. I would need to go to bed at about 10pm get up at 3am stay up till 4.30am then go back to sleep. I am not usually very tired at 10pm though. |

(I'm gonna make WBTB look worse now, because I'm good at making everything look bad. I mean, all I have to do is be there and suddenly 200% worse than it was a minute ago). |

If its hard to fall asleep after staying up for a while try staying up for less of the time. LIke 20 - 30 minutes. The times vary for everyone. I tried 60 minutes last night but I had really short Lucid dreams. Im gonna continue 60 minutes for a couple of nights and then switch to 90 minutes and see how that works for me. I think for me staying up for a short time works best for me. |

I've LD'd for a long time, but never tried inducing them myself until 5 days ago. I've been using WBTB, and every night since then it's worked.. today it gave me 3 LD's. The first few days I had about 5.5 - 6 hours of sleep with about an hour of wake time, but last night I tried 5 hours and only 30 minutes of wake time, and it worked fine. Also, I don't feel any more tired than I normally do throughout the day. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried. |

I really like the WBTB method - and so far Ive never fully tried it! I usually get up at about 5 30 after going to bed at 10-30 and listen to music or read a lil bit. Maybe for five minutes. Then I sleep, and I can tell when I slip into a Lucid Dream. More like Hargart's Method. |

I dont really understand all the hype around WBTB method.... I never got good results with it. |

Well, I speaking from my experience, I went from having LD's very rarely and for only a minute each, to having several every week. It's the easiest way to induce a lucid dream...for me..and apparently lots of others are having success with it to. Its improved my WILD's and DILD's and has thrown me into the world of lucid dreaming. Thats the big hype. Thats where its coming from. |
