I don't understand how this would make WBTBs dangerous... besides, you wake up all the time throughout the night, but you don't remember it, so I don't think there are any health risks. |

I'm watching 60 Minutes right now and they're talking about losing deep sleep periods... They did tests that show that if you don't have as much deep sleep that there may be health risks... One example of a health risk would be an increased chance of getting type 2 diabetes... Wouldn't this make WBTB methods dangerous??? |

Lucid Dream Count (starting 3/15/08):
[2]DILD
[0]WILD
Goal: Get the motivation to actually do WILDs and FILDs
As far as I know the majority of users here on dv don't practice wbtb everynight anyways, so I can't imagine doing it every other night or so would be that bad, however I agree with the above poster about there being no risk whatsoever, I'm just saying that if there was not many of us would be at much risk. |

This very point has already been raised many times here in DV. Truth is: there's not any change that would make LDing unhealthy. Yes, I agree that, when doing the WILD process, you're theoretically and for any adventing circumstances awake. But It's not like something that you do everyday. Most people sleep around 8 hours a day, and losing a bit less than one hour isn't going to make a noticeable difference. It's not like WILDing is insomnia of any kind. Yes, you do lose some sleep, but it's not like you're hacking your sleepy completely. |

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.
I'd say school and projects are about... 65.6189 times more of a threat to deep sleep. |
|
You should still be able to get more than enough deep sleep. Most of the time after WBTB most of us sleep later. |
