Best ways to increase length, and ways to remember to do them

I've heard of spinning and looking at your hands. Are there other ways to keep a Lucid dream going and what's the best way to remember to do them in dream. So far the only way I know of is practicing, studying one's hands as though you just failed a RC.

the glancing at your hands method is the one I found best, along with rubbing both your hands together. I fegured that while maintaining a steady view of your hands or your dream sorrounding may increase one's lucidity and its lasting. And finally, the rubbing helps stabilize the dream feeling engulching you into it increasing your chances of staying in that particular dream.

Hope this clarified some things for those who wished to know further

there needs to be a new method found for lengthening LDs. i wonder... could there be personal ways of keeping lengthening methods?
I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.

Hold on, when do I do this? In the dream, before the dream?

i got it! what if you created a device in the dreamworld and gave it a function that prolongs your dreams? similar to the watch in the post above.
