      Hynagogic Imagery? I need need help

      Im not sure if it was hynagogic imagery but last night as I was trying to WILD I started to see some crazy cloud like things in front of my face swirling around. It seemed kinda calming.

      yes it sounds like it... but usually for me this is my first stage of HI. as i become more relaxed and less focused on the HI, it morphs to other things and grids / shapes / lights and even flashing dream scenes start to come.

      My HI isn't anything like that o.O. I see people, places, things and eventually it'll start to become more frequent and then it'll turn 3d and I can see myself moving about.

      Yes.
      It was HI.

      That's how mine starts out, just lazy little wispy faint lights that become more elaborate as I get closer to dreaming. The wisps usually turn into flat geometric shapes, then evolve into more complex forms, patterns, and then into a dream scene if I hang on long enough.
